Overview
At JogList, we believe your health data is deeply personal. We have designed our app to respect your privacy at every step. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or share your personal information on our servers.
JogList processes all your training data entirely on your device. We have no backend servers that receive or store your personal data.
Health & Workout Data
- Heart Rate: JogList reads your heart rate from Apple Watch during assessments and workouts to calculate your heart rate zones using the Karvonen formula. This data is processed on-device and stored locally.
- Workout History: Your training sessions, progress, and completion history are stored on your device using SwiftData.
- Apple Health: JogList may read from and write to Apple Health with your permission to save workout data. You can control this permission at any time in Settings.
Data Storage
- Local Storage: All your assessment results, training plans, workout history, and preferences are stored on your device using SwiftData.
- iCloud Sync: JogList does not sync data via iCloud. Your training data remains on your device.
- Control: You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Location Data
JogList does not collect or use location data. Outdoor run metrics are handled entirely by Apple's Workout APIs if you choose to use them.
Third-Party Services
JogList does not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking services. There are no third-party servers involved in your training experience.
In-App Purchases
JogList uses Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple. We receive transaction verification information but do not have access to your payment details.
Data Retention
Since we do not store your data on our servers, you retain full control over data retention. Deleting the app or clearing data from within the app will remove all your training history from your device.
Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect data, we do not track age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
